Police Officers Association
Our Association has been having it's annual Toy Drive since 2002. Every year the amount of toys collected grows thereby allowing us to provide much needed toys to more families.
We as an Association do not make baskets or even distribute the toys to individual families, mainly due to the overwhelming amount of requests compared to the number of Officers in our department. Instead, we rely on organizations like The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Pasadena Moose Lodge, The South Belt Leader and Children's Memorial Herman Hospital to distribute the toys for us. The Toy Drive also provides stuffed animals for The Children's Assessment Center.
We receive toys and money donations from many schools through out the district and also from departments within the Pasadena ISD School District, such as Maintenance, Purchasing, Printing, Student Services, Food Services, and both the Superintendent's and Area Associated Superintendent's offices. Not to mention, just about every department located in the Administration Building. With out the help of the the generous students and employees of our School District our Toy Drive would not be possible much less the GREAT success that it is today.
WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERY SCHOOL AND DEPARTMENT WHO WERE ABLE TO HELP WITH DONATIONS!
